Found a date that looks wrong? Tell us.

This is the most useful thing you can send us. DaysTo publishes dates for 68 events, resolved from calendar rules, and a rule can be wrong in ways that are invisible until someone who lives with that holiday notices. If a date here does not match what you know, please write, and include:

• The page, so we know which rule to look at.
• The date you expected, and the year, since many of these rules only go wrong in particular years.
• Where your date comes from, if you have a link. A government calendar or an official body beats anything else, and it is what lets us cite a source on the page rather than admitting we have none.

Corrections are made against the source and logged in the changelog with the date they were applied.

Missing an event

Suggestions for events to add are welcome, especially outside the United States, where this catalog is currently thinnest. An event is more likely to be added if it has a clear rule and a source that states it.

Using the data or the widget

The JSON data files and the embeddable countdown are free to use with attribution. If you need something they do not cover, a private deployment or a feed shaped for your own product, say what you are building and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth doing.

Privacy of what you send

An email is an email: we receive what you send and keep it while the conversation is useful. We do not add senders to any list, because there is no list. See the privacy page.
