About the countdown to Earth Hour
As the last Saturday of March, Earth Hour ranges from March 25 to March 31, so a live countdown is more reliable than a fixed number.
The observance centres on a symbolic lights-out hour, usually in the evening local time, held in cities around the world.
The counter above reads from your device clock and refreshes every second, so the days, hours, minutes and seconds always reflect the time remaining right now. The next Earth Hour falls in ISO week 12 of 2027. When the day arrives the page says so instead of showing a zero, and from the following day it moves its target to 2028, so the countdown never runs out of road.

These fall within a fortnight of Earth Hour, which is useful if you are planning around the date rather than only checking it.
